Summer celebrations at Sound Stewardship
Now that the Olympics are over and school has started, summer is giving way to fall. As the seasons change, we’re happy to update you with all that’s been happening with the crew at Sound Stewardship.
Thanks to all your support, the firm is on its way to another record year:
- Our transition to a team approach is well underway, with the goal of having every client connected to at least two advisors to ensure a consistent experience across the firm.
- The technology behind our work is constantly improving, with recent major updates to the system that tracks your performance and manages secure document sharing.
- We’ve partnered with the creative firm Fervor to guide us in finding even more like-minded stewards through online advertising.
Matt Syverson: Matt cherished the time he got to spend with his wife, Tammy, and their four kids at Kanakuk Family Kamp, as well as a 16-day road trip to Philadelphia, Washington DC, and many other places between here and there. Levi (who’s doing great after a second heart surgery!) just started kindergarten, so all the kids are officially in school full-time. Matt’s heading into his third year in the Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentorship Program and sixth year as treasurer of New Horizon Ranch.
Jonathan Harrison: We get to brag again about Jonathan for making the cover of Financial Planning Magazine when he was featured in a July article on cleaning up inherited property. He also enjoyed his family vacation to Ireland, his wife’s birthplace. His youngest started kindergarten in August, so all three of his children are enjoying their days at a charter school in downtown KC. Jonathan is also training for his first marathon this October.
Joel Reimer: We are excited that Joel earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in June. He passed the certification exam years ago, and now having served with Sound Stewardship for three years, he is officially able to use the designation. He also officially became a Certified Kingdom Advisor® in August. Joel is a proud grandpa and welcomed his second grandson, Hayken, in April.
Derek Hensley: Derek has had much to celebrate this season. He married his beautiful wife, Tracy, in April and marked his one year anniversary with Sound Stewardship in July.
Ambra Leibach: Ambra has big news! She is pregnant with her second child, who’s arriving in October. She celebrates her eighth year with Sound Stewardship in August.
Kristalynn Redstone: Kristalynn spent much of her summer with her family on a much-anticipated three-week road trip to Washington DC and along the East Coast. After seven years with us, she is switching gears to work on special events and projects as an independent contractor in order to be more available to her kids as they get nearer to leaving the house.
Cindy St. John: Cindy is fast approaching her four year anniversary with us. She and her husband, Ricky, were thrilled to join all of their adult children and their families in Florida this summer to enjoy some quality time together.
Because of the close relationships we have with you all, we love getting to share in some of the biggest events in your lives. Our team is always here for you, ready and excited to serve you no matter what this fall brings.
