Congratulations are due for Joel Reimer who recently passed his CFP® exam! Most people think all financial planners are “certified,” but this isn’t true. Only those who have fulfilled the certification and renewal requirements of CFP® Board can display the CFP® certification trademarks which represent a high level of competency, ethics and professionalism. And because they are held to a fiduciary standard of care, a CFP® professional must put your interests ahead of their own and meet the rigorous 4 E’s of CFP® certification. – Learn more about those standards by clicking here.
We are excited to introduce you to Jonathan Harrison, the newest advisor in the Sound Stewardship team. Jonathan, who is already a CFP® professional, will be starting the middle of February. He has been with National Christian Foundation in various roles for almost the last seven years helping people make an impact in their world. Jonathan’s passion lies at the intersection of philanthropy, entrepreneurship, and technology. Outside of work you can find him spending time with his wife, three kids, and Airedale; running; or hanging out with neighbors in the urban community he loves.
It is with mixed emotions that we announce that Tyler Landes has finished his time with the Sound Stewardship team. We are sad to see him go, but are excited to see him take a bold step for his future. His last day was Wednesday, December 31st.
Tyler will launch his own financial planning firm with a focus on serving his peers: young professionals and new families just starting their journey.
For those clients who have met with Tyler in the past, we want you to know that Matt, Jonathan and Joel (along with the entire Sound Stewardship team) will continue to serve you with excellence.
